Letter from United Kingdom Delegation

10 Feb 1967
Description: This letter is a contribution by the UK delegation to NATO to the council meeting discussion on the Resolution on Future Tasks of the Alliance. It emphasizes that the resolution requests the study to focus on the tasks facing the alliance in order to enable the organization to adapt to the present as well as future situations. The letter specifies the alliance's political arrangements, its military organization, and the importance of Europe within the alliance as the three main discussion topics. The authors propose that the process be reviewed regularly and that sub-committes be established.
