Conferences and Events
The PHP has organized several international
conferences on a wide range of
security aspects during the Cold War including
threat perceptions and military
planning, intelligence, alliance management
within NATO and the Warsaw Pact,
and security and cooperation in Europe.
Besides academic conferences, the events
have included critical oral history conferences
with witnesses of the time. Edited
volumes resulting from the conferences
are included in the “List of Books.” Conference reports are available on the
website.
