He comments on an exercise in May 1950, on the occasion of which the Maritime Front was established and an operational-strategic plan for the Polish armed forces was laid out. He also describes the atmosphere when the memorandum contesting Poland's military subordination to the Soviet Union was submitted to the Soviet Union.
