Report from Politburo Members to Communist Party India (CPI) General Secretary (AK Ghosh)

20 Sep 1951
Description: This draft and later version of a report from the Central Committee (CC) of the Soviet Communist Party to the CC of Communist Party India (CPI) responds to a series of questions posed by AK Ghosh, CC CPI member. The report comments on CPI’s new program with special reference to differentiating between minimal and maximal demands, relations with the Indian bourgeoisie and United Front tactics. Furthermore, the papers support Ghosh's critique of the CPI's ineffective internal discussion and decision-making methods. Generally, the CC of the Soviet Communist Party agrees with Ghosh's position as set out in his letter of 24 June 1951.
