Denmark During the Cold War: National Security Policy and the International Environment, 1945-1991
|
On 30 June 2005, the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS) presented to the public the results of its five-year project on Denmark and the Cold War. Commissioned by the Danish government in 2000 and conducted by an independent group of researchers, headed by Svend Aage Christensen, the main findings are included in the comprehensive four-volume, 2,350-page publication, Danmark under den kolde krig: Den sikkerhedspolitiske situation 1945-1991 [Denmark During the Cold War: National Security Policy and the International Environment, 1945-1991]. The books are available for purchase via netboghandel.dk (for DKK 600.00), or may be downloaded free of charge from www.diis.dk/sw13004.asp. A 23-summary of the findings, as well as sample documents in Danish, English, Polish, Russian, and other languages, may be found on the DIIS website. |
