The conference was organized by the PHP's Norwegian partner, the Institute for Defence Studies in Oslo, sponsored by the PHP, and supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Defence, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Danish Institute for International Affairs, and the University Roma Tre, Dipartimento di Studi sullo stato e scienze sociali.
