Strategic Features of Military Conflict in the European Theater and Their Influence Upon State Preparation

Description: This paper analyzes the consequences that a European war would have had in the 1960s. It concentrates on strategic questions of warfare. It discusses the defense readiness of Western European countries and of Czechoslovakia, the implications of nuclear warfare, and strategic planning and operations in the case of war. It further addresses economic requirements for efficient warfare, and war preparations among the Czechoslovak population.
