Description:
This is a Czechoslovak report on the 1976 Political Consultative Meeting (PCC) in Bucharest. The report presents the agenda and summarizes the Brezhnev speech. It underlines the consent of the delegations, including the Romanian delegation, which nevertheless presented alternative propositions. As a result, the participants sign the following documents: (i) a declaration on measures fostering the peace and security process in Europe, (ii) a document creating a Warsaw Pact Committee of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA), and (iii) approval for the modernization of the United Armed Forces.
