Note on a Conversation Between the Soviet General Secretary (Nikita Khrushchev) and the Indian Prime Minister (Jawaharlal Nehru)

Description: This memorandum reports on conversations between Nikita Khrushchev and Jawaharlal Nehru after the Belgrade Conference of the same month, focusing largely on the German Question. Khrushchev outlines the Soviet positions on the status of West Berlin and on a separate peace treaty with the GDR should a general settlement with the West prove impossible. Khrushchev mentions the possibility of India becoming a signatory to a future peace treaty with the GDR.
