Speech by the First Secretary of the MSzMP (János Kádár)

Description: This is a transcript of a speech by the first secretary of the Hungarian Socialist Party, János Kádár, at the 1970 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Moscow. He expresses his agreement with the signing of the Treaty of Moscow. He further points to unresolved inter-bloc issues. The speech ends with criticism of the Romanian delegation's rejection of the Hungarian proposal to create a Warsaw Pact consultative committee for foreign policy.
