Speech by the Romanian Foreign Minister (Stefan Andrei)

Description: This is the transcript of a speech given by the Romanian foreign minister at the 1984 meeting of the Warsaw Pact's Committee of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA) in Berlin. He supports the Soviet initiatives for European peace and disarmament. But he also expresses divergent views, e.g., on the creation of a European nuclear-free zone. At the end of his speech, he outlines measures for fostering international economic development.
