Outline of a Czechoslovak Command Post Exercise

28 Jan 1987
Description: This is a report on a 1987 military exercise in Czechoslovakia. Under the scenario, NATO troops advance 100km into Czechoslovak territory using conventional weapons, while Warsaw Pact forces defend the territory successfully by conventional means. By contrast, the Warsaw Pact counteroffensive uses tactical nuclear weapons to destroy NATO's nuclear bases.
