Description:
This is a report on the modernization of the United Armed Forces delivered by Warsaw Pact Deputy Supreme Commander Ivan Yakubovsky to the 1976 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Bucharest. The report gives an overview over the current state of the United Armed Forces and states that a significant amount of the material is timeworn and needs to be replaced, especially in the area of air defense. Additionally, every allied army should set up a unity armed with the latest technology to augment the defense capacity of the Socialist bloc.
