Opening Speech by East German Defense Minister Heinz Hoffmann

Description: This is the transcript of the opening speech by East German Defense Minister Heinz Hoffmann at the fourth session of the Warsaw Pact's (WP) Committee of Defense Ministers in East Berlin 1972. Hoffmann welcomes all the participants and praises the policies of the WP and its member states. Special attention is given to the Prague Declaration on the Principles of European Security and relations between the European states.
