Description: This stenographic transcript of a meeting of the Central Committee of the Romanian Communist Party (RCP) addresses the 1988 conference of the Political Consultative Committee (PCC). At the conference, RCP General Secretary Nicolae Ceauşescu argued that although steps have been made in the direction of disarmament, there is no reason for the euphoria displayed by some of the participating countries, since the danger of war has not disappeared.
