Description: The main issue discussed in this report following the December 1979 meeting of the Warsaw Pact deputy foreign ministers in Berlin is the preparation for the Berlin session of the Committee of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA). The proposed agenda includes NATO's plan for the deployment of intermediate-range missiles and multilateral consultations scheduled in preparation for the Madrid conference.
