Description: This memorandum of conversation between US Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara and West German Defense Minister Kai-Uwe von Hassel provides a detailed account of discussions on strategic issues, including a briefing by the West German Bundeswehr on NATO nuclear strategy and forces.
