Proposal of the HSWP CC Department of Foreign Relations to the HSWP Political Committee on the Initiation at the Summoning [?] of the PCC

13 Nov 1964
Description: This proposal from the Central Committee (CC) of the Hungarian Socialist Workers´ Party (HSWP) refers to an upcoming Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Warsaw. The CC of the HSWP examines the proposal from the CC of the German Socialist Unity Party (GSUP), which states that the main goal of the negotiations at the PCC meeting should be the prevention of a NATO multilateral nuclear force. Further, the GSUP proposal states that the PCC should adopt a proclamation and announce it to the nations of the world. The CC of the HSWP advises the Politburo to accept the German proposal, but outlines some modifying proposals.
