Description: This is a transcript of an interview with Czechoslovak General Stanislav Procházka (b. 1922), commander of the 1st Army and Western Military District from 1965 to 1968. General Procházka confirms the existence of nuclear storage facilities in Czechoslovakia. He further comments on operational considerations during the 1960s. He admits that chemical warfare would have been an additional component of a "hot" war. He further speaks about the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 and its implications for the Czechoslovak army and military planning.
