Council of Ministers Resolution No. 162 on Free Arms Aid to North Vietnam

10 Aug 1966
Description: This resolution by the Bulgarian Council of Ministers establishes the provision of financial and military aid to North Vietnam. The order grants North Vietnam assistance worth 5.6 million Rubles, of which 2.6 million Rubles are earmarked for military hardware, while the remaining 3 million Rubles are provided as long-term loans. The Bulgarian minister of foreign trade plans to hold negotiations on the concrete form of assistance. Furthermore, the resolution prescribes the sources, funding, and transport arrangements for the assistance package.
