Information on the WP Leaders' Statements at the Meeting in Crimea

Description: This report records the statements of the political leaders participating at the July 1973 Crimea meeting of Warsaw Pact party leaders. All of those present, except Romanian Head of State Ceauşescu, who takes a different stance on a number of issues, express full agreement with Brezhnev's report and concrete proposals. Main topics addressed by the participants are: the socio-economic and political relations among the socialist states, relations between the Soviet Bloc and NATO countries (the FRG and France in particular), European security, and the activities of the Chinese leaders.
