Report on the Summit Meeting of Nine Communist Countries' Leaders of 16-22 October 1966

Description: This report to the Politburo of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party (HSWP) provides information about a meeting of the Warsaw Pact Communist party leaders and the party leaders of Cuba and Mongolia. Among the topics discussed are: (i) Soviet-US disarmament negotiations, (ii) the situation in Vietnam, and (iii) a future conference of the European Communist parties on European security issues.
