Report to the [Hungarian] Revolutionary Workers' and Peasants' Government on the Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Ministers

Description: This report on the October 1969 meeting of the Warsaw Pact (WP) deputy foreign ministers in Prague summarizes the discussions leading to the preparations of the WP countries for the conference on European security. The participants agree on the agenda and a draft proposal for the closing document. The two items proposed for the agenda are: a) the establishment of security in Europe and the denouncement of the use and the threat of the use of force against European countries, and b) the broadening of commercial, economic, and scientific-technological relations among the European countries.
