Description:
This declaration made at the Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Berlin 1970 expresses the Warsaw Pact's desire to enhance the European security process. In order to develop peaceful cooperation, the delegates agree to summon a pan-European security conference. The document also includes a declaration on the current situation and options for strengthening peace and security in the Middle East, a declaration on the situation in Indochina, and a statement on the US' hampering of national liberation movements in Africa.
