Memorandum of Conversation between the General Secretary of the CPSU (Leonid Brezhnev) and the First Secretary of PZPR (Edward Gierek)

Description: During a bilateral meeting of party leaders in Moscow, Brezhnev and Gierek discuss a number of international issues. Amongst the topics covered in the talks are the current status of the CSCE, the situation in Southeast Asia and the policies of the Romanian leadership. Gierek recounts his recent discussions with Olof Palme.
