This declaration adopted at the December 1970 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Berlin refers to the Portuguese armed intervention in Guinea on 22 November 1970 as well as other incidents of NATO countries impeding liberation movements in Africa. The participants at the meeting resolutely condemn such actions and reaffirm their solidarity with the peoples of Africa.
