Opinion of East Germany

Description: This is an East German statement regarding the development of East German troops assigned to the Warsaw Pact (WP) for the period between 1981 and 1985. It was presented during the 18th session of the WP's Committee of Ministers of Defense (CMD) in East Berlin in 1985. The document states that the East German army generally fulfilled its commitments. Additionally, plans for the future development until 1990 are sketched.
