Imre Nagy's Telegram to Diplomatic Missions in Budapest Declaring Hungary's Neutrality

Description: In this telegram, Hungarian Prime Minister Imre Nagy appeals to all foreign diplomatic missions in Budapest to help prevent another Soviet intervention. He demands the immediate withdrawal of all Soviet troops and declares Hungary's neutrality and withdrawal from the Warsaw Pact.
