Description:
This is the summary of a report on Western propaganda directed against the Warsaw Pact (WP) armed forces. It was given by Aleksei Yepishev, the head of the political administration of the Soviet armed forces, during the 16th session of the WP Committee of Ministers of Defense in Sofia in 1983. Yepishev offers advice on how counter-propaganda measures can be improved, both at the domestic level and in Western and developing countries. He encourages the WP countries to cooperate more actively in the field of counter-propaganda.
