Description:
This letter from the first secretary of the CPSU, Nikita Khrushchev, to the Central Committee of the Romanian Workers' Party concerns the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Romania. The presence of Soviet troops is no longer regarded as necessary in view of the decrease of tensions in international relations.
