Press Reports on Visit of Soviet First Deputy Premier (Alexsei Kosygin) to India

Description: This document contains a compilation of press reports published during Alexsei Kosygin's visit to India. Several of the agreements signed during the visit are mentioned, amongst them a loan agreement for the financing of India's development plans. Furthermore, Kosygin offers Soviet cooperation for the expansion of the Bhilai steel plant and geological prospecting for oil and gas in India. Both sides agree to further technological collaboration.
