Report on the Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Ministers

Description: This report on the January 1975 meeting of the Warsaw Pact deputy foreign ministers in Moscow describes preparations for celebrating the 20th anniversary of the alliance. The participants also agreed to establish a foreign ministers' committee and a joint secretariat of the Political Consultative Committee (PCC). However, due to Romanian opposition, the details of the mandate, constituency, and functioning of the established organizations were not defined.
