Report on the Committee of Ministers of Foreign Affairs Meeting in Moscow

Description: This is a report on the 1987 meeting of the Warsaw Pact's Committee of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA) in Moscow focussing on concrete disarmament measures. The participating Warsaw Pact foreign ministers discuss a Soviet initiative to ban intermediate-range nuclear weapons in Europe. They agree to continue negotiating on disarmament with the Western countries and declare their desire to ban chemical weapons.
