Report on the Visit of the Indian Prime Minister (Morarji Desai) to the Soviet Union

Description: This document reports the visit of the Indian prime minister, Morarji Desai, to the Soviet Union. Desai and General Secretary Brezhnev talk about recent developments in US-Soviet relations, the question of Cambodia, the possible normalization with China, the Camp David process in the Middle East and the situation in Afghanistan. Desai expresses his hope for resumption of US-Soviet talks on the Indian Ocean. Once again, close relations between the two countries are reaffirmed.
