Description: At a Crimea meeting of Warsaw Pact leaders, Brezhnev presents his perspective on international politics. Describing détente as a lasting feature of superpower relations, he outlines potential dangers for the Bloc countries in the new circumstances. He predicts Western acceptance of Soviet ideas on the CSCE. He also presents the Soviet view on a number of conflicts along the periphery.
