Memorandum of Discussions

1 Mar 1969
Description: This memorandum refers to the discussions held at a dinner party at the private residence of Romanian Foreign Minister Corneliu Mănescu in honour of the supreme commander of the United Armed Forces, Ivan Iakubovskii, and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the USSR Vasily Kuznetsov. The Soviet guests state their confidence that differences of opinion between the Socialist countries can be overcome by sincere discussions. Kuznetsov appreciates the way the Romanian foreign minister, acting as the president of the General Assembly of the UN, chaired the proceedings of the 18th session of this forum.
