||
Description:
This memorandum summarizes talks between the chairman of the Bulgarian Council of Ministers, Stanko Todorov, and Berhanu Baye, a member of the interim Military Administrative Council of Ethiopia. The latter addresses the situation in his country and states that Somalia is preventing the revolutionary forces in Ethiopia in finding a political settlement with Eritrea. Regarding these problems, Baye argues that his country depends on help from Bulgaria and other Socialist countries. Todorov assures him that Bulgaria will continue to provide assistance, but advises Ethiopia also to ask for support from other countries, such as Libya and Algeria. Collection: East-East Arms Trade
