Description: This report by Hungarian leader János Kádár to the politburo of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party (MSzMP) discusses the positions adopted by the Hungarian delegation at the Warsaw Pact's 1969 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Budapest. Kádár expresses satisfaction with the resolutions on restructuring the military bodies of the Warsaw Pact and on the establishment of new ones. He notes the disagreements touched off by the Romanian delegation, which succeeded in eliminating a statement on the Sino-Soviet border dispute from the public communiqué.
