East German Report on the Meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers

1981
Description: This document reports on a meeting of the Warsaw Pact deputy foreign ministers to discuss the situation at the Madrid CSCE follow-up conference. With the exception of Romania, which sought to promote its own proposals at the Madrid Conference, the deputy foreign ministers agreed that their states would continue to push for a conference on disarmament in Europe within the CSCE framework without making significant concessions on human rights and human contacts.
