Speech by the First Secretary of PZPR (Władysław Gomułka)

Description: This is a transcript of a speech by the first secretary of the Polish Worker's Party, Władysław Gomułka, at the 1970 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Moscow. He expresses the concern that the Treaty of Moscow could be instrumentalized by the Western states. In this context, he calls for an intensified economic and political cooperation of the Warsaw Pact members. At the end of his speech, he offers an assessment of West German Chancellor Willy Brandt's policies.
