Position Statement by the Czechoslovak Party CC and Government on the Results of the PCC Meeting

Description: These two draft statements outline the Czechoslovak position on the 1976 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Bucharest. The statements express consent with further disarmament and the planned declaration rejecting the first use of nuclear weapons, to be signed by the Helsinki Conference participants, and underscore the firm desire of the Czechoslovak government to closely cooperate within the Socialist bloc.
