Minutes of the Hungarian Party Politburo Session - Report on the PCC Meeting by the First Secretary of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party (János Kádár)

Description: This document is a report by the first secretary of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party, János Kádár, to the Politburo of the party. The report outlines issues discussed at the Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Bucharest from 6-7 March 1968, such as the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and the war in Vietnam. Kádár mentions the differences of opinion between Romania and the other Warsaw Pact (WP) countries: While six of the WP countries accept the draft treaty, Romania insists on several modifications and wishes to introduce them at the Geneva negotiations.
