Erich Mielke: Instruction No. 2/60

Description: This document, issued by the head of the East German Staatssicherheit (Stasi) intelligence service, Erich Mielke, addresses suspected espionage activities of the Military Liaison Missions (MLM) on the territory of East Germany. Mielke explains that certain security-sensitive areas will be made off-limits to the MLM teams, and explains the rules to be followed by both the MLM and the East German counter-intelligence agents.
