Summary of Presentation on the First Issue of the Agenda

Description: This is a summary of a presentation on the development and modernization of the United Armed Forces' (UAF) military equipment between 1986 and 1990. It was presented by UAF Supreme Commander Viktor Kulikov at the 16th session of the Warsaw Pact's Committee of Ministers of Defense in Sofia in 1983. In the light of NATO's deployment of missiles in Western Europe, Kulikov addresses ways of enhancing the UAF's defense readiness.
