Description:
This is the draft of a communiqué of the 1986 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Budapest in which the participants express their concern about the international political situation. They confirm their will to continue negotiations with the Western countries on a ban of nuclear tests and chemical weapons, on nuclear weapons disarmament, and on the multilateral reduction of conventional armed forces. Additionally, they underline the important role of the European Conference on Security and Cooperation and of international economic cooperation.
