Description:
This document on the 1970 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Berlin includes the main topics discussed by the leaders of the Warsaw Pact countries. Most of them agree on the importance of the Treaty of Moscow and the Treaty of Warsaw. They also warn of fluctuations in relations with West Germany and outline the European problems to be solved: (i) the international recognition of East Berlin, (ii) the solution of the West Berlin question, and (iii) the annulment of the Munich Agreement of 1938.
