Interview with Gen. Florian Siwicki

Description: This is a transcript of an interview with the former Polish minister of defense, General Florian Siwicki. He comments on the structures and operational plans of the Warsaw Pact, and outlines the role of the Polish Front in strategic Warsaw Pact planning as well as Polish involvement in the alliance's military exercises, such as "Sojuz 81". He also provides details on the defensive principles of the People's Republic of Poland and on the Polish military expeditionary force commanded by Siwicki during the Warsaw Pact's invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968.
