Description: This is a transcript of a speech given by the general secretary of the Bulgarian Communist Party, Todor Zhivkov, at the 1970 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Moscow. Zhivkov supports the foreign policy of the Soviet Union. In the concluding statement, First Secretary of the Soviet Central Committee Leonid Brezhnev expresses satisfaction with the outcomes of the meeting and holds that the unity of the Warsaw Pact countries guarantees a successful peace and security policy.
