Telegram from Romanian Deputy Foreign Minister George Macovescu to the Romanian Ambassador in Moscow

Description: In this telegram, the Romanian deputy foreign minister, George Macovescu, instructs the Romanian ambassador in Moscow to request an audience with the leadership of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the USSR in order to discuss the approaching Prague Conference of the Political Consultative Committee. Macovescu argues that a preliminary working meeting should be organized so that an agreement on draft documents can be reached before the Prague conference.
