This is the transcript of a speech given by Czechoslovak Foreign Minister Bohuslav Chňoupek at the 1982 meeting of the Warsaw Pact's Committee of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA) in Moscow. He condemns the confrontational stance of the US. He also points to Western European states, e.g. France and Austria, that he says are not interested in maintaining the détente process.
